“ I enjoy coming to The Roost. There's a bunch of options of food, and I like that you can sit anywhere and they'll bring any of the restaurants' dishes to your table. It's a great place to do work, hang out, or grab a quick bite. ”
“ Such a great coworking space with a variety of options of food and drink. It's also very convenient because there are QR codes on the tables and you can mobile order with the food being delivered right to your table. The service is efficient and the food options are yummy. Also on a nice day, it's a perfect place to sit outside and enjoy a bite or drink. At lunch they offer lunch specials such as the chicken bowl, that's my fav. ”
“ Amazing little food court in Capitol Hill. We went to the coffee shop towards the back two days in a row. We really enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches and their freshly made juice. Service is pretty good, too! ”
“ Food hall concept where you order from a QR code at your table. I went on a Friday just before 11am and got the last non-picnic style table. Lots of people working on laptops at booths and other tables. There's free WiFi. Slice Joint has a lunch special, $12.50 for a 16" pizza. They include a 20% fee and with two toppings this came to $16.50. Unfortunately, the pizza was super greasy but it tasted fine. ”
“ Pros: went here for a birthday dinner/drinks and had an absolute wonderful time. The service was wonderful and we found a table quickly on Friday evening, and the place was super moody with the lights dim, but high enough that you could have have great conversation. The food selection was almost overwhelming, and everything we got from the nachos to the beef burrito to the amazing noodles were delicious. The two different types of margaritas looked good and tasted good too. Cons: no formal parking structure so you have to go on a search and destroy mission for a parking spot, which took a little bit because the streets are narrow and of course, there were lots of Ubers and things like that dropping and picking people up and car is trying to get through. But after a short walk with a few blocks, we found a spot. The nonalcoholic drink menu from the bar is definitely lacking. It's basically seltzer waters and no mock tails, but when I went up to the bar, I had more success and getting a ginger beer and I'm guessing they probably would've made a Mocktail to you just can't order it off the QR code menu. I'll definitely be coming back, it's a great spot where no reservations are needed and lots of food options are available for a smaller large party. ”
“ Fun food hall by the Potomac Ave Metro. Perfect for a night hopping between here, Trusty's, and Hill East Burger. There is tons of space, and everything is so clean and welcoming. They close relatively early, around 10:00 pm on weekends, but Friday around 9:00, there was still a solid crowd. We grabbed two seats at the bar at Shelter, the beer spot with a great selection chosen by the same people behind Churchkey. Of course, they have an amazing diversity of choices, including some rare, specialty stouts we fell in love with. If you enjoy your beer, there is no better spot nearby. If you have more time, they also feature a Shop Made in DC, a coffee shop, meats and burgers from Red Apron, a dumpling/noodle bowl stall, an Italian restaurant, and a pizza slice joint. And at least a couple others I am forgetting, so top notch re-visitability. ”
“ The Roost is a beautiful food hall with table service and plenty of seating! The restaurants here are great, though a bit pricey. The coffee shop at the end of the roost is perfect for studying or spending time with friends. I love the collection of DC-made gifts for sale, too. ”
“ The food hall is awesome! Huge space where you can come with groups or alone to work. You order everything from a QR code on your table and things including water and dinnerware are magically brought out to you. There's something for everyone; bars, Asian, Pizza, Tacos. Truly a fun place where you can't decide what to eat. ”
“ Cool space, lots of food options, rare craft beers, indoor/outdoor seating, food was so-so. The ambiance was really cool. Lots of great cuisines to choose from. However the Peking duck buns and peanut noodles were super bland. The thick square pizzas were excellent! Crispy edges and very flavorful:) Service: Food comes out fast and servers were attentive, always cleaning away finished plates and glassware. Parking: there's no parking garage but there is street parking in the surrounding area: 2hr parking on weekdays, and free parking on weekends ”
